We Are a Family Business

Based in Preston, Lancashire, with easy access to all local motorway links. ROAM is centrally located for starting your journey into the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales or further afield to Scotland, NC500.

Founded in 2018 with our love of the great outdoors, we’ve grown from just one to multiple motorhomes in 2022. Our ranges cover 2,4,6 and 7 berth and include luxury electric beds, bunk beds and fixed beds. Versatility to meet all needs.

Driving License Requirements

To drive our motorhomes, you are only required to have only a standard driving licence other than our luxury Fiat Burster which requires a C1 license.

Pet Friendly

All our motorhomes are pet-friendly if you want to bring your fur babies along with you.

  • Do I need a special license to drive a motorhome ?

    No, for all our FORD RIMOR range all you need is to have held a full standard UK driving license for at least two years and you must be between the ages of 21-79 with the exception of our luxury FIAT BURSTNER, you will need to have a C1 license.

  • No, we offer unlimited mileage on all our hires.

  • Yes, of course. Pets are part of the family! We advise to bring extra seat coverings for the duration of hire as any damages will be chargeable.

  • No, we forbid the use of generators on our motorhomes as they are often not regulated and can cause damage to sensitive electrical equipment on the motorhome controls. Using generators could damage the electrics which Roam of Preston will have no option but to charge for the repairs plus missed bookings whilst being repaired.
